VIP’S 12 Days of Fitmass
• A FREE community event hosted by VIP Fit Club of Macedon NY.
• December 1st – 12th
• Large, group event on December 14th, VIP’s Super Saturday Get Fit Boot Camp!
• 10 days of bodyweight exercises:
o Jumping Jacks
o Bird Dog to Opposite Arm-Leg Underbody Crunch
o Standing Mountain Climbers
o Squat to Steam Engines (opposite elbow to knee core crunch)
o Opposite Arm to Leg Raise
o V-ups or Sprinter Sit-up
o Push-Ups
o Shoulder Tap Planks
o Corkscrew or Squat Jumps to Ankle Touch (alternate each touch)
o Single Leg Hop to Walk Out Push-Up
• Why should you do this? After all, they’re only a few calisthenics and can’t possibly get in you shape by using them, right? WRONG!
o It is a known and written about fact that many people do not start exercising because they don’t know where to begin, and the journey to their goal just seems too far away.
o Calisthenics are a start! They provide one step in the direction towards your fitness goal, and can be done by anyone, anywhere, at any fitness level in a short amount of time without the use of any equipment!
o Drill Instructors use calisthenics forge the shape of the world’s finest fighting force.
o Professional athletes across all sports use them to warm up because calisthenics get the human body ready for more intense exercises.
o They are worthy! YOU-ARE-WORTHY!
